After my husband passed I realized the only reason I was still in this area was because of him. It was a competitor of yours. I called them, they came out, gave me a verbal offer, then became very pushy. They insisted their figures were the best I’d get in my current situation. I told them I had to sleep on it then went inside to google other companies. When I came across House Buyers of America I figured, what could it hurt to call you? I mean an agent had laughed at me and an investor had offered me meager funds – what could you do to beat me down further?n After you provided me an offer and we were heading toward settlement, the thing that impressed me the most was when the closing fees began mounting and I suddenly felt like the deal would fall through due to my lack of funds, House Buyers stepped in and made it happen. After the movers left I still had to dispose of the trash I wasn’t taking. The field manager showed up for the last inspection and I was at my wit’s end. He called the girl at his main office and she got me calmed down then explained that House Buyers could remove the items for a fee. I knew I was going to have to pay someone, so why not the people who had made it possible to sell my home “as-is”. Your guy took pictures of the items to be left behind and you guys continued to wow me by agreeing to haul off everything without an additional cost. Yes, it wasn’t that much stuff – maybe a ¼ of a pickup truck; but still you could’ve taken advantage of me and didn’t. nI give you an 11 out of 10 stars and would recommend you to any of my family and coworkers who would be in need of your services. n
