Recent quarters have shown that the housing market is going through periods of slow growth or decline in different places throughout the country. However, that’s not true of every market. Even in places that have had a turbulent last few months (or years), there are often pockets in the market showing signs of improvement.
With this in mind, House Buyers of America set out to identify the places where residents have seen the greatest 1-year appreciation in their home values. This specific analysis identifies the ZIP Codes in the Baltimore metropolitan area which have experienced the sharpest one-year rise:
Sourcing: Data was sourced from the ZIP Code level data in Zillow’s Home Value Index. Locations that were part of the Baltimore metropolitan area were included in the analysis.
Time: The data measures growth which occurred between 2-28-25 and 2-28-26.
Key Findings:
- Baltimore’s leading ZIP code was 21056 in Pasadena, which increased approximately 11.20% in one year.
- The average home value across every ZIP in the Baltimore area rose from $501,696.38 to $510,304.44, an increase of approximately 1.72%.
- The average value increase among ZIP codes in the top 10 was 5.20%.
