I’ve been a realtor for years and years and found working with House Buyers of America to be quite pleasant. The Dispositions Consultant, most especially, was on top of the entire process and that was very appreciated. Their settlement representative did well following-up with me on everything that needed to be done, even though I didn’t need his help. I even had a suggestion for the company to better themselves and it was received well. Looking forward to working with you again!
I wanted to get out of the rental house business so when I saw a House Buyers of America Commercial on TV I decided to call. I figured they were sufficiently funded if they had a commercial and so much internet presence. I liked how very particular the details about my house were noted during the process as opposed to others who don’t know what they’re looking for. House Buyers has a very systematic approach to buying a home. But it was quick and thorough.
I had heard about House Buyers of America for quite some time so when my renter decided to move out, I gave them a call. With all of the COVID-19 happening, selling it As Is was the easiest solution. I live out west, so visiting the house myself was out of the question. I didn’t want to deal with all the limitations and delays I would have to go through with a realtor during this pandemic. I signed a contract to have House Buyers and they sold it faster than expected and they exceeded my expectations.
I was totally satisfied in working with House Buyers of America with my client. It was a smooth process and everything went well. Their title company was very nice and accommodating when we requested closing at an office closer to my buyer. It was a very efficient process.
I’m a realtor with high expectations, and House Buyers of America did a great job working with us, even when my buyer experienced delays due to a company name change. They stayed on top of everything, kept all parties moving, and helped us close on time. Responses were timely, the team was friendly, and the title company was excellent to work with. I look forward to doing more transactions with House Buyers of America.
It was a seamless process – Everyone was easy to work with. I would highly recommend you to others, even though I’m a realtor!
I’m retired and living in Florida and had a renter in my Virginia home. I got tired of dealing with renters and property managers, so I decided to sell. I was hesitant at first, but House Buyers of America quickly put me at ease. Other companies never called me back, but House Buyers responded right away and made an offer I couldn’t refuse. The closing was fast, smooth, and exactly what I needed.
After my wife passed away, the house got to be too much for me, so I dug out one of House Buyers Flyers that had been sent to me. I didn’t want to spend the time to fix it before I could sell it and I didn’t want the annoyance of dealing with an agent – especially having to keep it all clean to show to people. I checked the Better Business Bureaus to see if they were a legit company and their score was an A+! I went on their web site and everything looked good, so I gave them a call. They made an offer and I took it. Sure enough, they met their contract and everything went smoothly.
House Buyers of America did a good job – they did everything in their power to jump through hoops to make the house close on time. As a realtor, I look forward to working with you again. Put me on your mailing list!
I first learned of House Buyers of America after my father-in-law passed away, and I was the executor of his estate. Losing a loved one is always a difficult time, and sensitivity is required. Dealing with my father-in-law's house, which was in a state of disrepair, quickly became one of my biggest headaches. Within days of being named executor, I was inundated with phone calls--on my cell phone--from various investors and companies trying to buy the house. My wife and I invest in distressed homes, but not in the area where my father-in-law's house was located, so we committed to selling early. The only question was whether we would rehab the property before selling or sell it as-is. House Buyers was pleasantly persistent in wanting to buy the house, but without the pushy, faux-sensitive phone calls I received from other potential buyers. Given my experience with rehabbing homes, I had a fair idea of the value of the home and what it would cost us to rehab it, so I knew what a fair price would be. In the end, House Buyers made a more-than-fair offer that was higher than other potential buyers. Going through the hassle of a full rehab would have generated little additional cash and been a much bigger hassle. House Buyer's contracts were simple, and once we agreed on the price, they delivered the contract quickly. They provided us with the needed flexibility on the timing for closing, and we were able to close when we were ready without any major hiccups.
