I received a direct mail piece from House Buyers of America and knew I would sell to an investor, so I gave them a call. I had expected to have to haggle over price and endure a long, complicated process, but my expectations were exceeded from the very beginning. I felt the pricing was extremely fair and the process hassle free every step of the way. Super Professional
The time had come that my parents could no longer be on their own at home. We all decided it was best for us to place them into an assisted living facility where they could be looked after while I was working. The maintenance on the house had become astronomical as well and since we had let a few things go, I couldn’t keep up with the repairs needing to be done. n After leaving a message explaining the situation, the sales guy called me back within an hour and quickly established the initial inspection. Once title was pulled it was deemed I had ground rent to pay, but I honestly knew nothing about it. I first heard about House Buyers of America from their TV commercial. Initially, I was skeptical because I had never gone through the process of selling a home as-is, nor was I fully comfortable using a company from a TV commercial. After doing some research, and seeing their reviews with the Better Business Bureau, I was more comfortable contacting them, and I am glad that I did.n The renovation costs of my home were getting excessive, and I wanted to relocate without having to deal with the hassle of fixing up my home completely and putting it on the market. After contacting House Buyers, I received an initial price for my home instantly. This was very comforting, as it let me know that I was not wasting my time with this company. The real estate consultant was very helpful and responsive; he always made himself available for me if I had any questions or concerns. The entire process was very easy, which was one of the things I appreciated the most. Once we agreed the terms and final price, everything was smooth sailing from there, without me having to worry about any steps in the process.n The people at House Buyers took care of everything and made the whole ordeal a very easy and simple process. Completed Quickly and Easily
My wife and I downsized 4 years ago; we had been wanting to sell the house that we were no longer living in for a while. But we were not sure how. We knew that the house needed some repairs. Confident in The Process
Considering that it is only my husband and I left in the condo, it was time for us to move on and relocate to something smaller. Downsizing was one aspect, but the condo was going to require a lot of work that we did not want to spend the money to repair. A name such as House Buyers of America really does stand out within a crowd, and the TV commercial also helped in remembering their name. After my wife’s passing a couple of years ago, and after a few medical episodes, my doctor recommended for me to move out of the house, and House Buyers made that possible. There was no need for me to live alone in a 3500sf home, so downsizing was another reason why I decided to sell.n Choosing House Buyers was a simple and easy choice. Well done! Everything moved right on schedule and worked out! I worked with very good people that were very helpful. nnThis was my investment property and I was tired of the headache of being a landlord. It seemed like I was paying more and more into the house because of repairs that kept popping up. That and I wanted to avoid paying taxes by doing a 1031 exchange. I found a great exchange property and felt the time was right to contact House Buyers of America. I received a satisfactory offer on my house and was able to complete the exchange without any issues. Easily Done
I decided to become an investor and buy a fixer upper townhouse. I was young, doing well work wise, and thought it would be an opportune time to begin flipping properties. Then, the bottom fell out of the market.
