Thanks For Being So Great!
After having a heart attack which led to an extensive stay in a rehab facility, I knew time wasn’t on my side. I was old and had no family in the immediate area to help care for me or the property in which I lived. Once I was back on my feet – literally – I was told I would need a double hip replacement. It was at this point I decided I had to get rid of my house and downsize. Yes, I had a guy to cut my grass in the summer and shovel my walk in the winter; but those were expenses I really didn’t need. On top of those I would need a nurse aka old man sitter plus a maid / cook because well all the nurses I interviewed made it clear they didn’t do housework or even light cooking. I soon made the decision to downsize and move into an assisted living apartment type complex. I figured they could worry about their own yard and shoveling while I worried about my health. nI got a letter from House Buyers of America and decided to give you guys a call. My representative was nice and before I knew it, he was knocking on my door and presenting me with a ratified contract. What’s more, I only packed what I wanted to keep and made arrangements for your company to haul off all the rest. It was as simple as 1 2 3 and as easy as A B C. Due to an inheritance I was able to retire early but being still young I wanted to move on to the next stagenof my life. I was surprised at how smooth and easy the whole process was! I was skeptical at first, but everyone at House Buyers of America from the beginning through settlement was terrific. I was also shocked because I kept expecting a lot of paperwork and complications, but none occurred. The process was seamless, all of the steps were communicated to me throughout the process, so I was always kept in the loop. I received a fair price for my house, and it all worked out well.nn
No time for contractors!
I had already moved and did not have the time to search for contractors, manage the repair status and get the house ready to go onto the market. It was just too much to do in the time frame I had to get out of the property. So, I called around to a few investment companies and found that House Buyers of America was the one that would work best for us. It was a pleasant experience from the beginning. Death in the Family
I wanted to get my deceased family member’s house sold quickly after their passing and needed someone who would purchase it in the current condition. The gentleman I first spoke to assured me that he had handled several other comparable homes to the one I wanted to sell and that I should not worry about anything. He started the process off on a high note and was pretty cool on the phone. After meeting him in person, I could tell he was very knowledgeable and genuinely sincere about my situation. nI would rate my experience using House Buyers of America at a 9.5 out of 10 because of the fantastic first impression that I received from the real estate consultant. He was the key person that made you feel comfortable like you really knew him outside of this business interaction. nHe explained all I was required to do was to clean out the house, which turned out to be one a hot mess and was my biggest hassle overall.
