I recently sold my property to House Buyers after reviewing your website online and reading the positive reviews written by previous customers. My divorce was just finalized and I was downsizing to something smaller that I could handle on my own. Being a first-time home seller unfamiliar to the home selling process, it was critical I find someone who could guide me while still keeping the transaction short, sweet, and to the point. nYour Real Estate Professional walked me through the entire process every step of the way. He was always readily available anytime I needed him. He answered all my questions patiently and in lament’s terms I could understand. nI specifically liked the ease of selling my home to House Buyers. I did not have to worry about anything because the consultant and his entire team had it taken care of for me right up to settlement and when the proceeds were wired into my bank account.nI would rate my overall experience a 9 out of 10. If I gave you a 10 you may get a big head. But I do want to close with the fact House Buyers of America gave me the best customer service experience that I have received in a very long time. I had just gotten divorced and wanted a quick division of our assets so both of us could simply move on to the next chapter of our lives – only separately. Per the directive, my ex-husband and I were to split the proceeds from the sale of our property 50/50 and I knew if we used a realtor we would have to pay commissions and supervise construction repairs further dwindling our take away profit. Also by taking the most common road, I would have been worried about my dogs having to be crated when potential buyers previewed the house. After my husband passed I realized the only reason I was still in this area was because of him. He loved the spring blooms and fall color as much as I hated the allergies and snow covered icy highways. At this point, I was retired and our kids had moved on making a life for themselves. So I decided a change of location would be good so I called a realtor. After a tour of my property she actually laughed at me. She said there was no way I could pay off my mortgage with the sale of my property because it wasn’t up to date or modern. After our talk, I lost all steam from my sails. I wanted to move south where it was cheaper and of course warmer but I was at a loss of what to do.n My oldest son encouraged me not to lose heart over one realtor’s opinion but it was hard not to because as much as I wanted to discredit her words, I knew she was most likely right. Our home was built in the 80s and wasn’t updated when we moved in. Of course we were unable to renovate it in the 14 years we lived there so some items went into disrepair while we milked others to the max. nI saw an advertisement on the TV. It was a competitor of yours. I called them, they came out, gave me a verbal offer, then became very pushy. They insisted their figures were the best I’d get in my current situation. I told them I had to sleep on it then went inside to google other companies. When I came across House Buyers of America I figured, what could it hurt to call you? I mean an agent had laughed at me and an investor had offered me meager funds – what could you do to beat me down further?n After you provided me an offer and we were heading toward settlement, the thing that impressed me the most was when the closing fees began mounting and I suddenly felt like the deal would fall through due to my lack of funds, House Buyers stepped in and made it happen. After the movers left I still had to dispose of the trash I wasn’t taking. The field manager showed up for the last inspection and I was at my wit’s end. He called the girl at his main office and she got me calmed down then explained that House Buyers could remove the items for a fee. I knew I was going to have to pay someone, so why not the people who had made it possible to sell my home “as-is”. Your guy took pictures of the items to be left behind and you guys continued to wow me by agreeing to haul off everything without an additional cost. Yes, it wasn’t that much stuff – maybe a ¼ of a pickup truck; but still you could’ve taken advantage of me and didn’t. nI give you an 11 out of 10 stars and would recommend you to any of my family and coworkers who would be in need of your services. n

Our house passed through the due diligence period and we settled in 30 days just as promised.nThe staff at House Buyers was courteous and professional at all times. I would say the process from start to finish took about 45 days total and we were sent on our way without any difficulties.nI would definitely recommend them to friends, family, and coworkers.
